1. Who looks after your data
The controller of the personal data handled on the mokapet.tech site is the Moka project. For anything about privacy, including reaching our data protection officer, write to the email at the end of this page.
This policy adds to the Terms and conditions of use and covers the Site. When the App starts handling personal data, it will be updated beforehand.
2. Which data we handle
We handle only what is needed:
- Contact form: the name, email and message you write.
- Beta waitlist: your email and the language you read the site in, kept only after you confirm your signup through the link we send.
- Usage analytics, only if you accept: pages visited, time on the site, type of device and browser, approximate region and where you came from, collected by Google Analytics with cookies.
- Preferences: the language you read the site in and your choice about cookies.
- In your own browser: the minigame's best score, which is never sent to us.
- Technical access data: IP address, browser and time, logged by the company hosting the site to keep it safe and running.
We don't ask for sensitive data, we don't sell data, and we don't use your data for automated decisions about you.
3. What we use it for, and on what legal basis

4. Whom we share it with
We share data only with companies that help us run the site, and only what that requires:
- Vercel: hosts the site.
- Resend: delivers the site's emails (the contact form messages and the waitlist confirmation) and keeps the waitlist.
- Google: provides Google Analytics, only if you accept the analytics cookies.
We may also share data if the law or an authority requires it, or to defend the rights of the project and its users.
5. International transfer
These companies may process data on servers outside Brazil, such as in the United States. In those cases, the transfer follows what the LGPD allows (art. 33), with companies that adopt data protection safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
- Form messages: as long as needed to answer and follow up; then they are deleted, unless the law requires keeping them.
- Waitlist: until you leave it, or until the App launches, when the list is deleted. Unconfirmed signups aren't kept.
- Google Analytics data: up to 14 months, after which Google deletes it.
- Language cookie: up to 1 year. Your cookie choice: until you change it or clear the site's data.
- Technical access data: for the hosting company's period and as required by law.
8. Your rights
Under the LGPD (art. 18), you may at any time:
- confirm whether we handle your data and access it;
- correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
- ask for unnecessary data, or data handled against the law, to be anonymized, blocked or deleted;
- ask for your data to be ported;
- ask for the data handled with your consent to be deleted;
- know whom we share your data with;
- know that you may refuse consent, and what happens if you do;
- withdraw your consent.
To exercise any of these rights, write to our email. We'll answer as soon as we can, and you may also complain to Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
9. Security
We use a secure connection (HTTPS) across the whole site, keep the services' access keys out of the code and limit access to data to those who need it. No system is fully immune to failures, but if an incident happens that could put you at risk, we'll let you and the ANPD know, as the law requires.
10. Children and teenagers
The site is for all audiences and recommended from age 13 and up. People under 18 should use the contact form with their parents' or guardians' knowledge. We don't knowingly handle data from children under 12 without a guardian's consent; if that happens, contact us and we'll delete the data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site changes or the law requires. The date of the last update is at the top of the page and, if a change is significant, we'll let you know clearly.
